In one line: Manus is a cloud AI agent that takes a plain-English task and hands back finished work: research reports, slide decks, websites, charts, and more.

What it is

Manus is a general-purpose AI agent. Instead of chatting back and forth, you describe the outcome, and it plans the steps, browses the web, and builds the deliverable in the cloud while you do something else. It picks a model for each step, can split big jobs across many sub-agents, and can run tasks on a schedule. This week it launched Manus for Business: a Team plan with shared projects, reusable Skills, pooled credits, and free Guest seats for people who only need to review and comment.

Who it’s for

Solo founders and small teams who need research, decks, or a quick landing page without hiring for it, plus creators and knowledge workers stuck rebuilding the same report every week.

Try this today

Sign up free at manus.im and give it one real task: “Research the top 5 competitors to [your product]. Compare pricing, positioning, and recent launches, then turn it into a 6-slide deck.” If it’s useful, make it a scheduled task so a fresh version lands every Monday.

The catch

Everything runs on credits, and the pricing pages don’t say how many a typical task uses, so watch your balance on big jobs. Free gives 300 credits a day, 1 task at a time, and only the Lite model in Agent mode. Pro starts at $20/month (4,000 credits) or $40/month (8,000 credits, 7-day free trial), with 17% off yearly. Team is $20 per seat/month or $200 per seat/year (4,000 credits per seat). SSO costs $150 extra under 30 seats.

Pricing checked on manus.im/team, manus.im/blog/manus-team-plan, and help.manus.im on Oct 15, 2026.
